Teeth, teeth, teeth

The Winter Break that is fast approaching is such a fun time with sliding, skiing, skating, and staying up late with friends and family.  Remember, just because students are on vacation, the germs in their mouths are not!!  They never take a break.  The germs are always wanting to cause gum disease and cavities!

Please help your child when it comes to taking care of his/her teeth over vacation.  Remind them that brushing two times a day for two minutes and flossing at least once a day is still important! Even more so, with all the treats this season brings to us.

This all being said, The Children's Dental Health Project is still going strong here at school. Many families have wondered if it is too late to sign up.....the answer is No!  It's not too late.  Please contact Kristin Veysey, School Nurse here at school if you need the forms to do so.

Turkey Trouble

We read the book Turkey Trouble where the turkey tries to disguise himself so that he won't get eaten.  Here are a few of our turkeys that were created at home with our families.
