Ted Panasci was able to get the bicycle trailer back and the kids enjoyed bike riding in PE
Here is second grade enjoying the bikes, sun and being outside.
Ludlow Elementary School is a PreK-6 public school located in Ludlow, Vermont. LES's annual enrollment is between 125 and 150 students. We are fortunate to have a dedicated staff who advocate for children and value professional development. Being a small school, we are very proud of what we have to offer our students.

Preschool newsflash
Preschool Newsflash * Week of April 8, 2019
Kate turns 4! Birthdays are always so much fun!
Vivian brings in her stuffed
bunny, “Gus”, to put on a puppet show for me to make me feel better…such a
wonderful group of children we have the privilege to teach!
Reading to our babies, painting
on the easels, water play and helping each other! This classroom is filled with incredible
relationships and learning!
Pictured below is our chime. I use this chime to signal to the children
that it is time to stop and take a breath.
Usually this is at the beginning of our circle. We sing “Good Day” and then I ring the
chime. When the children see the chime,
they put their hands together at their heart, close their eyes and listen to
the sound of the chime as it disappears.
After a few moments we take a deep breath in our nose and out our
mouths. It’s really fantastic!
I have also introduced the
children to “Star Breathing”. They hold
up one hand and spread their fingers into a star shape. Then they use the pointer finger of opposite
hand to take breaths in and out as they move their finger up each finger and
thumb of their hand. I will continue to
do this, along with our regular Friday yoga!
Such a wonderful way to learn the power and relaxation of simple
breathing!
Reminder that tomorrow, Friday April 12th
is an early release day! Pick up at
11:30 and next week is Spring Vacation Week!
Enjoy this time with your family!
Wishing you
a safe, happy and WARM week next week!
